When we make the time to stop, we can truly begin to explore and understand how we feel and
think about ourselves. By diving deep into your inner world to revisit events and circumstances, you begin to understand what not to repeat, how to heal your memories and rediscover the goodness of what lies below. My book The Shifting currents between us, explores ideas of self-discovery through exploration of both our internal and external worlds.
As you work with all that lies within you, you begin to fall under the spell of your own magic to restore your dreams, and reconnect with the depth of your own possibility. You become aware of your own sacred purpose to express yourself freely, and journey along a path of feeling content within yourself. This is the power of your own magic.
I wish you well on your journey this week and leave you with the closing paragraphs from The Shifting currents between us:
“The world is turning and spinning relentlessly, and we are all spinning at different speeds. We are all bound to collide, clash, fall and stand again. Our experiences are rich, mysterious and sometimes perilous. We all have one tendency – to abandon the present moment to cling to stories from another time. We trust this process to keep us safe. The movement is the same – we keep falling and learning to stand again until these stories eventually dissolve into nothing.
I have wasted time living in fear, living in the past, and I am suddenly aware of the labels I gave each day and each life encounter. I realize that they were markers on my journey, constantly shifting me.
I am like a big city- deep and wide, east and west and north and south. My nomadic soul spiraled up and down until I found a lighthouse within myself. I am here, watching the world relentlessly turning and spinning.
I am here now accepting the softness of each breath, feeling the gentle warmness from within as I witness this precious moment with gratitude, and I want to build a life upon this.”
